How to safely ship your laptop to us for repair. Follow these steps.
Packaging Instructions
- Power off the laptop completely (not sleep mode)
- Remove the battery if removable
- Wrap laptop in anti-static bubble wrap
- Place in a sturdy box with foam padding
- Fill all gaps — laptop should not move inside box
- Include charger and any accessories
- Seal box with strong packaging tape
Shipping Options
- Use any courier — we recommend The Courier Guy
- Insure the package for its full value
- Get proof of posting / tracking number
- Email tracking number to info@laptopmechanic.co.za
